Upcoming Workshops
We offer two styles of workshops to guide teens and adults in developing deeper relationships to their bodies. To bring a workshop to your organization, please contact Emily at emily@embodyingcalm.com
Soothing Touch: Self-Massage for Relaxation
Immerse yourself in this relaxing guided experience as you press pause on outside distractions, attune to your body, and relieve pain and tension. We’ll practice calming touch, breath, and mindfulness techniques. No experience necessary. These workshops are taught through the Insight Timer App. Join our weekly class on Tuesdays at 8:30pm, starting February 14th or contact Emily at emily@embodyingcalm.com to host a workshop for your group!
Building Your Embodiment Toolbox
Guided by a licensed massage therapist, you’ll learn tools, tips and techniques to calm and self-regulate during stressful moments. Your tools will include beginner-level visual, sensory and proprioceptive techniques that you can modify to fit real-life situations and environments. This workshop is equal parts experiential and group discussion. Every participant will leave with a practical “toolbox” of skills and a tracker to follow your progress!
“I always felt so released by the end of class. It was like I could let go of excess tension.”
“I learned that I can trust my body”
I felt super relaxed afterwards and felt like I had dedicated time to take care of myself”
