COVID-19 Guidelines

Here is what Empower Massage Therapy is doing to protect against the spread of COVID-19. Please read before your appointment!

Minimizing Client to Client Contact

  • Sessions will be spaced out appropriately to allow for cleaning
  • No water glasses will be shared—please bring your own water bottle to the session

Minimizing Germ Transfer

  • Cleaning products used will be CDC-recommended and EPA-registered
  • Hand sanitizer & masks will be provided at the entrance
  • Wearing a mask is required during the intake, but optional when lying on the table
  • Therapist will wear a mask and face shield during the session
  • Clients are not required to wear a mask during the session
  • All linens, bolsters, and oil products will be replaced or cleaned between sessions
  • A plastic table covering will be placed under linens to be cleaned between clients, to prevent table warmer and padding form collecting germs
  • All high-contact areas will be wiped down between sessions

Air Flow

  • HEPA-certified air purifier will be used in the room
  • Windows & doors will be opened between sessions to circulate air

Payments and Forms

  • New clients will have the option of filling out forms online
  • Online payment is offered through email invoice. Please ask if interested
  • All clients returning to the office will have a COVID-19 health form to fill out
  • All pens & clipboards will be sanitized between clients

Choosing to Reschedule

  • Please stay home if you or someone you live with have cold/flu-like symptoms
  • If you’ve traveled outside the state within 14 days of your appointment, please schedule a COVID test.
  • Cancellation Fees will be waived in the instance of illness
